The Fresh Coast Classic is partnering with the Milwaukee Bucks and the Running Rebels to bring you the cities first ever Career in Sports Academy. The purpose of the academy is to expose our community’s youth to the many career opportunities within the sports industry.

Player Development
Officiating
Game Operations and many more
The event will “Show and Tell” youth how to become purposely engaged in sports off the court or field. It will be a hands-on fun event for everyone involved.

With their loud and boisterous sound on the drums, Bucks Beats is ready to entertain the fans anywhere they can bring their drums. Bucks Beats brings thunderous energy to the game. Cascio Music has outfitted the entire squad with Pearl equipment and instruments.

“Another banging success” – The Annual Fresh Coast Classic features multi-packed activities:
10 HS Basketball Games – that featured City vs Suburban Showcase of teams from around the Metro area. Game events also replete with half-time performances from MPS cheer-pom groups and local community organizations. Past years event has attracted 4,500+ spectators and some notable sponsors including – Barry Mandel, Harley Davidson, Potatowami Foundation, Gruber Law, Direct Supply, WeEnergies and many more.
Over the past years, the Fresh Coast Classic has proven to be more than a basketball tournament. It is a regional event that exposes Milwaukee area adults and students to the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and the educational opportunities available at these prestigious institutions, as well as an exposure to many other colleges and resources available to students country-wide. It’s a celebration that commemorates academic achievement, tradition and sportsmanship that continues to be an entertainment-filled, family-friendly weekend with something for everyone.
